What is the Greenhouse Effect?

The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane, trap the energy from the sun. Without these gases, heat would escape back into space and Earth's average temperature would be 60 Fahrenheit colder. Because of how they warm our world, these gases are referred to as greenhouse gases.

How is it affecting our environment?

The greenhouse effect is deeply affecting pretty bad our environment. Since the suns rays enter the earth, they are also supposed to leave it. But with all this gases in our atmosphere, the suns rays stay in the Earth. If that happens and we do not do anything about it, we will overheat and toast to death.

What can we do to stop it?

Many of the gases trapped in the ozone cape are the ones that are caused by pollution. There are also other types of gases, such as the ones from hair spray can. To reduce the amount of gases stuck in the atmosphere, we can use the car less. We can also use Gel instead of a hair spray can.
